Jon
Boisclair has worked closely for the last 10 years with the current Republican
leadership of the House of Representatives.As such, he has become a confidante to senior Republican
members.
Prior
to his association with The
Advocacy Group, Mr. Boisclair was president of the Transit Advertising
Association in Washington DC.
Mr.
Boisclair primarily works with the House Commerce and the Ways & Means
Committees on tax, health care and telecommunication issues. During the 105th
Congress, Mr. Boisclair was recognized for his role advocating the U.S.
electronics manufacturing sector's efforts to pass the World Intellectual
Property Organization (WIPO) Treaty Act.The law was enacted to protect against the piracy of intellectual
property. He also has been a campaign media advisor to Congressman Jim
Ramstead(R- MN).
A
native of Washington D.C., Mr. Boisclair attended the University of North
Dakota and Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating with a B.S. in
Economics. He also attended the Wharton School for Advanced Management.
