![]() George A. Ramonas George A. Ramonas, President of The Advocacy Group, is a graduate of Case Western Reserve School of Law. He served as Legislative Director to U.S. Senator Pete Domenici of New Mexico, Chairman of the U.S. Senate Budget Committee, from 1977 until January of 1985. In his capacity as Legislative Director, Mr. Ramonas coordinated all activities for Senator Domenici, who was voted by U.S. News and World Report as the most effective legislator in the U.S. Senate for 1983 and 1984. In addition, Mr. Ramonas chaired the weekly strategy and policy development meeting for all the Senate Republican Legislative Directors. From 1985 to 1991, Mr. Ramonas was in private practice, representing various universities and state-of-the-art technology companies. His practice specialized in promoting a federal financial role for high technology and critical technology infrastructure for various projects throughout the country.
In l991, Mr. Ramonas formed The Advocacy Group, specializing in representation in the Nation's Capital.
