The Advocacy Group provides counseling and assistance in government relations and public affairs to U.S. and international businesses, universities, medical centers, trade associations, coalitions, individuals and government entities on a broad range of federal issues. The firm is an advocate for clients before the Congress, The White House, federal departments, agencies and various state govemments. The Advocacy Group develops and implements government relations strategies to achieve business objectives. The firm also assists clients in fashioning and obtaining remedies for adverse govemment policies. In addition, the firm monitors government policymaking to assist clients in making informed business decisions. The Advocacy Group provides personalized attention to clients by the principals of the firm. When necessary, the firm utilizes additional technical specialists, lawyers and professional experts to provide a full range of high-quality services to clients in an efficient and cost-effective manner. The Federal government makes decisions every day which can affect you. These decisions will be made with or without consideration of your interests. To ensure that your interests are accommodated, you must participate in the process. The Advocacy Group will help you: understand the Federal government decisionmaking process; formulate realistic and achievable objectives; design an effective strategy; develop a clear and convincing message; communicate that message to key government policy-makers; and work with clients step-by-step to achieve success. The Advocacy Group represents clients by providing a full range of legislative, administrative and government relations services, including;designing and implementing legislative strategy; direct advocacy of clients' positions before the Congress and Executive Branch agencies; coordinating grassroots support programs; organizing coalitions with shared interests; advising clients on Congressional trends and Executive Branch policies; drafting and analyzing legislative proposals; and regulatory and legislative monitoring. The firm represents clients on a broad range of issues involving the environment, education, taxation, international trade, communications, energy, health care, product safety, education, transportation, insurance and financial services. |
