Suzy Glucksman has over 15 years experience working with Congress and the Administration. Since joining the Advocacy Group in 2003, she has represented universities, municipalities, transportation, and other education entities in the Federal arena.
Ms Glucksman began her career on Capitol Hill as a campaign fundraiser for Congressman Wayne Owens. She also worked for Senator John Kerry and Representative Joseph P. Kennedy II as a legislative policy advisor in the areas of foreign affairs, trade and defense policy.
After leaving the Hill, Ms. Glucksman worked for several non-profit organizations in the government affairs arena. She has extensive experience monitored and analyzed legislation across a broad range of issues, including annual federal budgets, authorization and appropriation bills in Congress and for federal agencies, and related legislative proposals. Immediately prior to joining The Advocacy Group, she served as Assistant Director of the MIT Washington office, representing that university on education, defense, energy and health issues on Capitol Hill.
A native of Washington, D.C., Ms. Glucksman attended Harvard University and Smith College. She received her Master’s Degree in public policy and international economics from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University.
